Fine dining is INCREDIBLE. Local ingredients exquisitely cooked. One of the best in Bern by far, in a really cosy location. Top personal service. Great wines. Foodgasm pur. Go there!!!! Really.
We had booked for brunch with several kids and adults. The brunch was very good and had many different treats. From cheese to ham and bread to müesli. Then there was a second round with a poached egg and salad.
The first plate was very good and it was presented in a pleasing way on a big wooden board.
The second plate with the poached egg was good but i would have liked to have the egg less boiled and the amount of salad coming was to much in my opinion. but that is complaining on a high level.
Recommendation is to reserve before hand as the space is limited.
The restaurant can be reached by car, trough a small way in the forest.
The restaurant space is good and there is enough space so the kids can also play around without bumbing into other tables.
I absolutely love it. Try over 200 kinds of cheese for a brunch, make your own cereal, enjoy fantastic ice cream for a desert. Nothing better for a great summer sunday brunch.
These guys have an extraordinary concept. It's like you know it from the food channel on TV, a trailer in which they cook and fry and serve at very simple decorated outdoor seating. Indeed it is a very good concept, especially because you get real fresh food. The location is right by the Aare river and you enjoy the pure nature while dining. Worth visiting when you are nearby.
It is very peacefull place where you can drink very good cider. Also the river is not so far and you can swim in it - that's what people usually do.
The food is delicious and the location is awesome. Perfect after a boat ride from bern. The only thing that bugs me every time, is that the service is extremely slow. You have to get in-line at some kind of counter, there where two people in-front of us. It took 20 minutes before we could order, so you definitely need to bring some time or valium.
Great food & local beers, good people & cool sustainable concept in the middle of nature on the Aare!❤️
